Job Description:

The Occupational Therapist provides occupational therapy treatment and patient care according to hospital, state, professional and federal regulations and guidelines. The position requires:

1.Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, caregivers, and departmental and interdepartmental relationships.

2.Competency in Occupational Therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning and treatment.

3.Task delegation and supervision of Occupational Therapist Assistants and Technicians.

4.Maintains open and ongoing communication with hospital departments to ensure patient, staff, and hospital needs are met.

Position Requirements:

Must have current state license or certification;
CPR certification
Education, Training and Experience
Successfully completed a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited therapy program
