Hi, I’m Angie. I’ve been an Occupational therapist for 7 years and have spent a good portion of my career working with children in the schools. About two years ago I decided to take a year off and travel to South Africa. I volunteered in rural communities and worked with teachers and other healthcare providers in various settings.

When I returned, I realized how much I loved traveling and exploring new places. I knew I wanted to incorporate that into my OT career. That’s when I found Centra! I’ve been with them about a year and have had multiple placements in the Pacific Northwest. I love the flexibility that I have working with Centra. It’s allowed me to expand my OT skills and work with a variety of different populations where I’ve been equally challenged and inspired. Travel therapy has also afforded me the ability to explore places I haven’t been.

I love the outdoors; backpacking/camping and I’ve discovered some amazing gems in northern Washington. I look forward to continuing OT travel therapy and am excited about the new opportunities that await.
