I’m Jackie, and this is My Story
Traveler
My name is Jackie and I have been a LPN for 13 years in Mississippi. I started going on travel nurse assignments a year ago, in 2018, with my husband and our German Shepard, Ruger, to see all of the states I have never been to and experience different cultures. I have enjoyed my time and coworkers here on the night shift in Butte, MT. I can honestly say that I have made friends for life. I enjoy working in long term care and rehabilitation taking care of the elderly. On this particular assignment, in Butte, I have really gotten to know the town. It is known as the richest hill on earth because it used to be an old mining town. A hop and a skip away is Yellowstone Park which we spent a day touring and it is a must see. So now I can say that I checked this experience off my bucket list.
All of this was made possible because of my recruiter Junior Rodriguez. He gave me an excellent pay package and excellent health insurance included. He was very upfront about the assignment and answered all of my questions. He called me back whenever I had a question. He was there for me when my mother passed away while on assignment and the facility was great with covering my shift for a week until I could get back. I didn’t feel like an inconvenience. He is very upbeat and positive and after talking with him you feel like you can accomplish anything. I can’t believe I waited this long to do travel nursing …my next adventure awaits!
