Hello fellow travelers and soon-to-be ones, I’m Robert. I’ve been a physical therapist for just under 2 years now. A little more about myself, growing up I always wanted to travel and get out of my “SoCal” bubble. Don’t get me wrong, California is beautiful and fun but I’m an explorer at heart. In pursuit of my dream, I decided to get into traveling PT and that’s how I found Centra! I’m currently working in a local acute care hospital in Honolulu, HI and I absolutely love it here.

For starters, everyone here is extremely friendly and the hospital here has a tight knit rehab team. I’ve always wanted to expand my PT skills outside of skilled nursing facilities and the outpatient setting, and Centra has been my foot in the door into the acute care setting. Beyond that, travel therapy has allowed me to travel and do what I love, which is to explore and see the rest of the world.

I’ve been in Hawaii for the past 2 months, and I knew from the moment I stepped off that plane that I had to extend my contract here. I’ve become an avid hiker, have developed a newfound passion for surfing, and have seen so many gorgeous views that I sometimes question if I’ll ever come back to sunny California. I am excited to see where my travel therapy career will take me next and I am grateful for the amazing friends that I have made along the way.
